"[Brand] Apologist" and "[Brand] Fanboy" are the kind of ridiculous, loaded terms which shouldn't appear anywhere on a site like HN. When people praise Apple it's not because they're fanboys. When people criticise Apple it's not because they hate everything Apple does with a passion. EPEAT is outdated. Horribly outdated. By EPEAT's own admission. Apple made a mistake by opting out of it rather than working with EPEAT to try to improve it. I think that's what they are doing now.
