I don't really understand this. Not saying $1M is nothing, but it does sound like it, even when it comes to Trump, who is so poor that he would be kicked out of the country club, if he didn't own his own one. Not even mentioning the mega-billionaires who are "donating". Drop in the ocean - on both the receiver's and sender's end.
Is it something symbolic, like "paying respects to the Don"?
