I use it because it's the photo gallery app that my camera app uses, and I haven't disabled it because I occasionally do want to share photos through Google Photos.
- tredre3 2y agoYour camera app might be hardcoded to always use Google Photos if it is enabled (some manufacturers do that) but it would more than likely look for another gallery app if you disabled Google Photos.
