How on earth do you end up with >2400 phone providers in the first place? There must be a lot of profit being made off people?
- fred_is_fred 2y agoMy (medium sized) city offers fiber internet and added phone for people who still want "home phones". I assume there's lots of small municipalities or even smaller private ISPs that offer it.
- indrora 2y agoThere's a lot of places on this earth. 2,400 providers isn't even a million customers per company for the US (333million)
