It should be obvious to anyone with a brain that the invisible hand steals from your pocket without giving you healthcare that the rest of the world enjoys for cheaper because they don't let healthcare be completely gamified for profits over lives, suffering, and bankruptcy.
- tim333 2y agoIt's not that clear to me why it's like that though. Something about the political system that makes voting in a change harder? I'm a Brit and you can largely vote in a different government that can change everything if it has a decent majority but it doesn't seem to work that way in the US.
- aaomidi 2y agoThere was a study done by Princeton I think a while back that Americans people’s opinions has very little to do with what happens in congress. Also, Europe adopted a lot of socially beneficial policies in wake of ww2. The US never had the devastation Europe had, so collective thought didnt form in the same way.
