I've tried the app (free trial), it's doing a good job at identifying issues in my pronunciation. It can rate my level and highlight the vowel / consonants within words that need improvement. The app looks quite good, but a bit expensive. I'd be very interested if it supports more languages in the future. I suspect they use the same technique for guessing the accent - detect which sounds are not well pronounced (and they have no interest in distinguishing accents amont native speakers).
