1st thought, without reading it, "what have they done now again?" EU always means making life more complicated, see cookie banners. Politicians need a reason to explain why they're getting paid to do their job, so they create regulations for regulations sake. I've just skimmed over it, I bet somewhere there there's a loophole where the EU or its member states, aka select few earn big money from these "guidelines", or it's legislation already now, I thought the EU only formulates guidelines which the member states have to implement. Yes, I'm pedantic where it's required. IMHO a politician making legislation should have at least completed an apprenticeship in that field before being let lose. Yup it's all about money. Bleh
