Uh are you a psychiatrist because it doesn't sound like it? This definitely looks like it could meet DSM criteria as an eating disorder. To the muggles out there, generally speaking non psychiatric doctors (and many older, out of date psych professionals for that matter) know about as much about modern psych diagnostic criteria as a potato.
