I'm from Mississippi and know some small farmers but none of the big sweet potato producers. "Mississippi Sweet Potatoes" coming from the "Sweet Potato Capital of the World" has always been a strong branding in my head growing up, just being near the influence of that. It's not hard to get their wholesale but I wanted to have some orders before finding a partner.
- fm2606 2y agoI have read of other people getting customers/orders before actually having the product in place. But my doomsday mind has a hard time shaking what happens if you can't follow through? Is it as simple as refunding the money? A simple, stupid question with probably a single answer but that is where my mind goes when I hear people doing things this way.
