Well yeah, and GPT is just a bunch of matrix multiplications configured in a specific way. The bells and whistles are what turn it into something useful.

- spookie 2y agoHow useful and at what computing cost? Genuine questions. Because from what I gather there are quite a number of "loops" to check for correctness of output, etc... that makes it expensive fast. Not talking about money, but compute.
