Not at all, my family members have had struggles with crappy insurance.
I'm sure it was tough for them with chronic pain - but I don't see a dotted line from health insurance stupidity to their suffering. Especially given his background, income, and earnings potential, I'm not seeing a reason for him to blame insurance tbh.
- toomuchtodo 2y agoI see a direct line, as someone who has advocated for hundreds of people seeking permanent birth control and in every instance, insurance (UHC primarily) attempt to avoid paying what they are legally mandated by the ACA to pay (100%). I have emails, phone logs, letters to state (dept of insurance) and federal (dept of labor) regulators in this regard. So, it is likely our perspective delta is a function of our lived experience.
