  social media can reach far more people with a single post then you can with a single phone call or text message. Social media also rewards engagement and reposting which further propagates a message.

  Yes, and phones are regulated to a greater extent. For example. in some jurisdictions there are do-not-call lists and specific rules about how to do electioneering over the phone. You are actually proving the point that social media needs more regulation, which is actually quite funny.

    I was responding to the call to ban the social media. Of course regulation is needed. To start with, they should enforce KYC. Calls to ban something just because bad people are using it are often misguided (in particular, when good people find it useful too).
