- diggan 2y agoThat doesn't sound very similar at all. Their Terms and Conditions specifically say they don't allow cryptocurrency mining or similar, so hardly surprising that they shut down something like Solana validators.
- nailer 2y agoSolana validators do not perform cryptocurrency mining.
- diggan 2y agoI'm well aware of this. Read the T&C and I'm sure even you can understand the intent.
- n144q 2y agoAre we talking about the actual T&C or the "intent" of T&C?

- RateMyPE 2y ago"The operation of applications for mining cryptocurrencies remains prohibited. These include, but are not limited to, mining, farming and plotting of cryptocurrencies" It's pretty clear they basically prohibit everything related to cryptocurrencies, even content, as you can see in their T&C.
- nailer 2y agoI have no idea what farming and plotting are. But if they wanted to prohibit everything related to cryptocurrencies, they would not say ‘applications for mining cryptocurrencies’ but rather more definitive language such as ‘applications for operating cryptocurrencies’
