Anyone Noticed the Outage?
https://radar.cloudflare.com/traffic
Cloudflare radar shows 50% global traffic drop. Like, instantly, about UTC 02:00 8 Dec. Apparently, all continents affected. Downdetector.com has a spike on all graphs about the same time. The internet is pretty centralized these days, so a sudden 50% drop is explainable. Still, I see no commentary on the media.
- inemesitaffia 2y agoAny idea who went down? Might be a measurement probe outage

- truefossil 2y agoMy bet is on a BGP glitch at the moment.
- dunwaldo 2y agowith something that widespread perhaps auth?
- emot 2y agothat's a comparison in the previous week, when there was a clear spike in traffic — if you use the mouseover you'll see there's a reason for that spike. https://radar.cloudflare.com/traffic?dateRange=14d https://radar.cloudflare.com/traffic?dateRange=14d
