Well, if you make a cheeseburger $70 sales will fall too. My Alma mater charges more than 4x what I paid 20 years ago for tuition. The systematic refunding of schools has led to this rise in tuition. The rich can afford it and the poor will be forced to forego higher education, instead being trained by echo chambers on the internet. Sadly, I can't say this was engineered, but I don't see the pattern breaking any time soon. I could see tuition going into 7 digits for private schools in the next 10 years.
