I think its so children are open to eating it after the parents have bought it. If the food doesn't look appealing the parent will have to work harder but its the parents making the food choices not the child. Most of the time children don't even go to the grocery store with their parents.
- WD-42 2y agoTell me you have never had kids without telling me you’ve never had kids.
- phyzix5761 2y agoI have children
- NicuCalcea 2y agoSo parents buy unhealthy food for their children without any prompting, and the kids need to have their minds opened to it by advertising, otherwise they wouldn't it?
- phyzix5761 2y agoI'm sure the cartoons and colors help the kids get motivated to eat the cereal
- WD-42 2y agoI'm pretty sure the massive amounts of sugar is all the motivation they need.
- phyzix5761 2y agoHow do they know it has sugar just by looking at the food or the packaging?
- autoexec 2y agothe rainbow colored marshmallows tip them off.
- WD-42 2y agoBecause most children aren't stupid and when something is called a "Fruit Loop" or the box displays pieces of cereal that resemble halloween candy they can make the connection to sugar.
- phyzix5761 2y agoExactly. That's why I said "I'm sure the cartoons and colors help the kids get motivated to eat the cereal"
