Show HN: A Job Aggregator That Helps You Upskill for Remote IT Roles
Hello Hacker News!
Exactly one year ago, I shared an article analyzing the skills most in demand for data analyst roles. Today, I’m excited to bring you the next evolution of that idea—scaled up to cover most IT fields.
What did I create?
A smart job aggregator: It filters job listings to show only those that match your unique skillset—no more endless scrolling.
Live market insights: It analyzes current job trends to pinpoint the skills employers are looking for right now.
Personalized skill growth recommendations: Based on your profile, it highlights the two specific skills that could most improve your market value.
It’s a tool designed to help you navigate your career strategically.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—what would make this tool even more valuable to you?
- pplonski86 2y agoCongrats on launch! What is target seniority level? Is it for seniors only? What is business model for your service? There are typos on webiste, for example 'sing in' in top menu.
- azeus89 2y agoGreat questions—thanks for asking! The platform allows users to define their own level of experience (e.g., Junior, Mid, Senior), but it’s also designed to provide a broader perspective on their career position. That’s one of the key goals of my site. For example, if someone identifies as Mid-level, they’ll primarily see jobs targeted at that level. However, the system also analyzes factors like years of experience and skill overlap. If it detects a strong match with Senior-level roles, those opportunities will be included as well. This way, users can explore roles that align with their current skills while also being exposed to opportunities they might not have considered yet—helping them grow and aim higher in their careers. For now, my main goal is to create a useful tool for job searching. That's why my service is completely free. And finally, thanks for pointing out the error on the page. I appreciate it :) Let me know if you have more thoughts or questions!
- neonew96 2y agoHelped me so much that I can't describe it, highly recommend it
- azeus89 2y agoHi, I'm glad my idea was useful for you.

- szaaamann 2y agoInteresting ASCII setting
- azeus89 2y agoThank you, I've been trying to do some tinkering to get the it style (if there is such a thing). The best thing about it is that these are usually .txt files, so this option is mega efficient.
- krasa1994 2y agoI like your pages design
- ebrwsk 2y agoI really like the concept. Clear and useful. No More endless scrolling.
- azeus89 2y agoThank you! In the future I want to add AI to maximize matching. As well as use it to improve CVs.
- apjanusz 2y agoThis sounds fantastic! How does your tool account for softer, less obvious skills (like communication) and adapt recommendations to remote or regional job market trends?
- azeus89 2y agoThank you for the great question! At this stage, softer skills like communication aren't included, primarily because they're more nuanced and often better represented on a scale rather than as binary options. However, I plan to incorporate these types of skills in the future, especially when I integrate an AI-based matcher.
