The posters here were warned hundreds of times that the tech monster they were cheering on because it was being used to destroy their ideological foes could turn against them, but most were sure they had reached the end of history where they were going to finally be victorious over their foes, dispatching them to the dustbin of history. Hubris is a hell of a drug.
