  What indication is there that the forces opposed to Assad will make syria better? Everything I've seen points to Libya all over again. There's not likely to be much to go back to for most of the people who've left.

  The case for refugees isn't "their country is bad". It is "they are fleeing war". If it was the former case, then approximately 7b people would be valid refugees.
