Show HN: I made a website for people to bet on my blood glucose
I made a fun (imaginary money, a.k.a. candies) betting site where you can place a bet on my blood sugar levels.
- ksymph 2y agoFeels very creepy knowing this much about a stranger (not to mention gamifying it) but also weirdly fascinating. My closest friend has diabetes, it can be hard. Hope you're well. I suppose I can just check though lol. Strange but well executed.
- huseyz 2y agoThanks for the good wishes!
- lastfreespot 2y agodid you by chance get an idea from the tv show Scrubs? :D
- huseyz 2y agoActually, I've never seen Scrubs. The idea is actually from a word joke(betting on blood sugar, diaBET) I heard some time ago. Is there a similar scene in the show?
