- manmal 2y agoThanks for this, I didn't know that people create weak BTC keys for fun. I guess some are also used as bot honeypots?
- therein 2y agoBack in the day people used to SHA256 a passphrase and create a Bitcoin private key from it.
- lxgr 2y agoDefinitely! Takes a bit of time to go through all of them, though.
- manmal 2y agoI think people don’t get what I mean. A key with just 0s and a 1 at the last digit is very weak. Yet someone created a wallet with it for fun.
- wild_pointer 2y agoNice one. Random key: balance is zero. Real key: balance is (now) zero

- Jabbles 2y agoI'm sure there are people who will search for their actual private key, potentially leaking it.
