If it was just a 'basic murder' why the resources being used to solve it? If it was just a 'basic murder' why did the killer take his time - days - to take act

If it was just a 'basic murder' why the resources being used to solve it?
If it was just a 'basic murder' why did the killer take his time - days - to take action?
If it was just a 'basic murder' why the words on the bullet casings?
I'm in the UK and have some familiarity with the US 'healthcare' system and from where I am this is not a 'basic murder'.
- JSDevOps 2y agoI can guarantee you, most of what the UK thinks it knows about the healthcare system is just parroting nonsense and stereotypes they’ve picked up online. OMG!!!111 “357 trillion gazillion pounds for a plaster for a cut finger!” Or, “It’s cheaper to rent a space shuttle from NASA to get to the hospital than call an ambulance!” All that exaggerated BS. What’s even more staggering is that most people in the UK, many of whom haven’t been 100 miles out of their hometown, somehow have strong opinions on the US healthcare system. Yes, the system can be predatory at times, no question. But let’s not jump to conclusions here. The murderer was clearly driven by some kind of ideology. We need to establish the facts first. That said, it’s highly likely insurance denied something—for him or for someone he cared about—and he hit a breaking point with nothing left to lose.

- talldayo 2y agoI'm in the US and people are killed like this with startling regularity. I grew up in a school system where the former district administrator was shot in the head at point-blank range by an angry parent.
- JoeAltmaier 2y agoAll the resources? It was a rich, high-status guy. Important people (relatives?) are demanding action. So not treated the same as some schmuck killed for their wallet. Business as usual in the US anyway.
