- tzs 2y agoI've not used TikTok but from what I've seen most of what it does seems like it could be done well purely on the web, except maybe video creation but shooting a video in an app and uploading to the web doesn't seem like it would be too onerous. So what happens if they do make a pure web version, and host that on servers outside the US?

- wruza 2y agoThat’s not effective at all, as the practice shows in all censorships where internet access is still available.
- FeteCommuniste 2y agoMaybe not effective as a full ban but once it got ejected from all the app stores, how much trouble is the average person going to take to keep accessing it rather than switching to some other source to get their short video fix?
