I think this has a lot to do with vehicles bought using salary sacrifice hitting the market at the same time, I know some people that got their EV this way with a 30-40% discount.
- ljf 2y agoCertainly - that will benefit a lot of people who didn't want to (or who couldn't) take advantage of those offers. I was tempted to go for one, but would still have been around £400 a month after tax. I far prefer to buy a car in cash and drive it until it dies - but I understand others do enjoy having a newer car. Certainly benefits me when I come to buy something else 2nd hand.
