- sidibe 2y agoThe problem for openai is Google's cost are always going to be way lower than theirs if they're doing similar things. Google's secret sauce for so many of their products is cheaper compute. Once the models are close, decades of Google's experience integrating and optimizing use of new hardware into their data centers with high utilization aren't going to be overcome by openai for years.
