> As I understand in US, if you take vacation longer than week, you're in the fear you will be fired. Is it true? I have a coworker who takes off 3 weeks in a row every year. Never been an issue. In general in the US, tech companies have excellent benefits -- including plenty of vacation. Not as much as Europe but it's not bad.
