I disagree. We all are eager to make binary yes/no decisions. Presidential pardon exists for a good reason and it exists in many countries. People elect a president, prescient uses pardon power. Political pardons are not always morally wrong. It has been and will be abused, but it also does good. System is not broken just because people in the system are broken. If we want to defended democracy, we must allow people to choose corrupt, disgusting people. They mirror the people.
