Show HN: TwitterSave – Download Twitter Video (X), Photo, GIF Easily

• nehiljain2023 2y ago
This is super neat. I have been looking for a tool to download some of the videos on X so I can watch them offline. There is so much relevant conversation happening in X community/streams etc. Are you scraping twitter or using twitter API for this?

Thanks! We’re leveraging a mix of scraping techniques and available API integrations to keep things running smoothly on X.

Greate way to download x video! I would like it more if I can download by just change the url hostname in browser, e.g. change https://twitter.com/username/status/123456789 https://twitter.com/username/status/123456789 to https://twittersave.com/username/status/123456789 https://twittersave.com/username/status/123456789

Great idea! A hostname swap would be awesome. Or, try our extension for an even easier solution: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/twitter-video-downloader/pcemcijpagklnnflfnhpiagaolofgadb https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/twitter-video-downl...

I thought all these sites got broken when the Twitter API v2 lockdown happened. Well done however it got done !
