It seems really strange to me that the CEOs of two major companies have announced immediate retirements on the same day (the other being Carlos Tavaris of Stellantis).
- dreamcompiler 2y agoI'm more surprised about Gelsinger than Tavares. Gelsinger seemed to have a viable plan going forward, even if progress was slow. But Tavares has been doing a terrible job for the past year: New Jeep inventories stacking up on dealer lots for over a year, mass layoffs, plant closings, unreliable cars, and no meaningful price reductions or other measures to correct the situation. You couldn't pay me to take a new Jeep or Ram truck right now.
