This is known as the “tu quoque” rhetorical device, used for millennia and commonly viewed as a fallacious argument. There are a lot of places online that explain the concept. Just because your opponent has done the same thing doesn’t mean the original charge against you is invalid. Their hypocrisy does not invalidate their argument. Not supporting either Biden or Trump in their actions, but this isn’t the way to make a convincing argument. (Why aren’t they teaching rhetoric in schools?)
