You can trade money for convenience. People that simply want stuff for free can waste 5 minutes to figure out how to use a torrent client. Hell, 20 years ago I had to invest time and trust to get the connections to proper IRC distribution channels to get releases as soon as they were made available by the scene. Yeah, I was a teenager without money to pay for a proper Usenet subscription to download Linux ISOs. :) As soon as Netflix entered the streaming market in my country, it didn't take long for me to stop sailing the seas. I bet these pirates got a nice and shiny app to make official streaming platforms envious.
