I’ll add: Siri somehow gets in a state where the pulsing circle appears and responds to voice, and it stays in that state apparently indefinitely and never actually transcribes any words or does anything. It’s possible this happens when music is stuck? iOS 17 seemed to break Siri pretty badly when the phone thinks it’s in a car, but the damage seems to be spreading in 18.
