Most Starlink's new generation constellations are around 550 km where the orbital decay time is 50 years. Some constellations will be 1000 or above.

  Starlink ones are compliant with 25-year reentry requirement, no?

    The 25 year requirement isn't a panacea, because deorbit mechanisms are not going to be perfectly reliable decades after launch. They increase the number of satellites you can fly somewhat.
