You have and will miss most things because they were not hit your way. The only things you can actually miss are the opportunities that are yours. But the only way to miss them is because your attention was somewhere else. You have an awesome opportunity for a mentor in the director. You caught a lucky bus, stay on it. Right now people can look at you and see potential. In just a few years, they will look at you and see squandered potential.
