I downloaded this 1926 issue of Amazing Stories (https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/luminist/SF/AS/AS_1926_04.pdf https://s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/luminist/SF/AS/AS_1926_04...), and my idea of the 1920's has already shifted a little. The influence of 'radio' on the public's imagination is something I hadn't quite appreciated. The word 'scientifiction' is interesting. Thanks for the link.
