- evanjrowley 2y agoAssuming there's an active uplink that can reach a timeserver, then yes. The batter-powered RTC allows the router to serve more accurate time and maintain working HTTPS in the event it gets rebooted as a troubleshooting step for when the internet goes down, possibly for an extended period.
