Hey I'm super grateful for your feedback. I will definitely take deeper look at runtime dependency vs language version. It's such an interesting topic I realise that some things are not exactly fitting in the survey, such as structs having always been there, but trust me, I had my reasons for putting them there. Structs for example are there because it's a feature that does not exist in Java and I would like to see whether people appreciate it over other features that Java has got. About the updates from 20 years ago... Java came out 30 years ago, and I want to include timelines in my study, so "historical data" is something I want to gather. Nevertheless, I see your point and I will try my best to see how I can modify the survey to seem more relevant and closer to the real world than it currently is. Thank you :D
