So during the summer I install Armbian on my Pinebook pro, and I have been reasonably happy with it, until it got an update which included a new kernel. Usually it's a routine thing, right? Well, it didn't boot anymore.
I thought it's a fluke. I wasn't happy, but it happens. It's FOSS, so if it breaks, I can keep both parts, or get my money back.
I reinstalled it, and have been a happy user once again, until the next update came, when the same crap happened. At that point I decided to report a bug. I found a really cool Google form, that guided me through the bug filing process (what happens, what category, etc), until the end, when it asks me to post the UART output on their forum, and it gives a link to the forum - which throws a 404 error. At this point I said ugly words, and gave up.
And this is the tale of why I'm not using Armbian, thank you for coming to my TED talk.
