i just coded threaded responses that's linear in time, within and between grandparents-grandchildrens subs newer response is pushed to the last node on respective branch to preserve time order tree structure on flat file, output generated by recursion then i looked at drupal which also has threaded posts ... i wonder if mysql approach is easier
