- redundantly 2y agoSounds like you haven't had good congee, or it just isn't your thing. It can be amazingly delicious and is a great comfort / cold day dish.
- wenc 2y agoGrits are good. Congee is rice porridge. It’s good. I expect goodness and all these deliver. No need to explicitly set expectations, unless one is completely uninitiated.
