Hanging out on HN and arguing in favor of the gestapo is unusual.
Shall we send them over to your place next, so they can tell you what exactly you have to hide?
- namaria 2y agoWhen I see these kinds of arguments I realize how important and how fragile the rule of law is. People jump to conclusions very readily and are easy to whip into a frenzy by malicious authorities.
- leptons 2y agoYou're trolling - I never "argued in favor of the gestapo". I specifically called out the reason why it's not great to carry around $80,000 in cash is that anyone can steal that cash from you if you're carrying it around, not just "the gestapo".
- ssl-3 2y agoAnyone can steal it, sure. And anyone who did so would be a criminal, unless they were the police.
