Salt was bad for cars. (Having had a 80s car that was rusting badly). There was a hole in one of my rear wheel wells. Salt/ sand got into the hollow steel and rusted from the inside out at the base of the passenger door. It was was bad all over however. Cars are galvanized now so they don’t rust. Is that truck running bare stainless with no finish? Are you going to stick to it during the winter?
