I think it will succeed because cost is important, and they understand that android solves two difficult problems for any gaming platform - development of quality titles and distribution of these titles. The specs are an important consideration, but they won't matter if the thing is too expensive to gain a large following. Their largest problem will be their sales channel I suspect. I hope they kick ass.
