- johnea 2y agoActually, it is available 24/7. Now, wouldn't be awesome if there was a global power grid that could provide power anywhere on the planet? (still cheaper than fusion) No need to cover all of Michigan, the area available on flat roofed buildings everywhere is enough. Of course, a distributed power source, locally generated and consumed, is anathema to the capital motive of concentrating the most wealth in the fewest hands...
