I think you mean Czechoslovakia? As soon as you got fascist militias roaming around and you can't quench them, you are screwed. I don't think ceding to them was the way to go. They are essentially warlords and those are destabilizing for tge central government. It is a bad idea to cooperate with them due to having a common enemy in the separatists. Also these fascists are ideologically accelerationists, not reactionaries like in e.g. Spain.
