LoL is owned by Tencent and under Chinese jurisdiction so I think she works for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huxian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huxian and is in a different hierarchy though the CCP probably thinks Xi is the boss of him. Tamamo-no-Mae was the most famous 9 tailed fox in Japan, her incarnations in Fate usually have 1 tail so far as I know, I think they have a story that she got split into nine entities (Tamamo JK, Tamamo Cat, …) but Type Moon hasn’t finished the job and there not that many in Grand Order. My wife told me nine tails was absurd, how would you draw that? [does it matter if chengyu are quoted in simplified or not, or is that just a geographic sibboleth?] (foxes are foxes the world 'round, even if lions acquire stripes. what are eastern designori?) it looks like .jp has the tanuki, which even outfoxes the fox. Guess my life is out of balance: I have local representatives of the foxes, weasels, hedgehogs, and crows, but no snakes. Am I too far west?
