My own experience, but I've been very happy with the level of toys I have. It feels manageable and I can pick up all toys within 5 minutes (depending on how scattered they got). However, whenever kids come over to my house (particularly slightly older children- 6+), their first comment almost without fail is "where are all the toys?" I feel like our choice has been fairly intentional.
