Project Lombok has solved that issue of manual boiler-plate getters and setters in Java. If you program regularly in Java it's worth having in your toolbox.

Part of the language since 2020: https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/14/language/records.html https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/14/language/records.h... Admittedly they come with some restrictions, but also some additional benefits.
