Why did evolution see fit to limit the ability of the heart and the brain to regenerate cells?
- cmrx64 2y agoMy guess is that controlling proliferation in these organs prevents cancers or disturbing a structure that is “already working fine”, where small changes can reduce the functioning, and where tissue downtime isn’t feasible.
