Good. Some people enthusiastically voted for Trump, but others, whose votes put him over the top, did so reluctantly, hoping that the other branches of government would be guard rails. Polymarket indicated a few days ago that Gaetz had only about a 20% chance of being confirmed by the Senate.

- jfengel 2y agoWe're still getting multiple quacks put in charge of government science agencies. They're not withdrawing because the "guard rails" show no sign of working. It took a literal pedophile to trigger the guard rails.
